Green Township OKs Mercy hospital plan - Philadelphia Business Journal:

The plan passed 3-0. “We’re very pleased to get to this stagew and excited to take thenext step,” said Pete Gemmer, spokesma n for Mercy. “We realizd there is still a lot of work to do and we look forwar d to continuing to work with the residents and the townshiop leaders to develop a hospital everyone can beprouc of.” The project will now be submittesd to the Hamilton Countty Regional Commission for consideration, probablg next month, Gemmer said. The plannec hospital and parking areas would cover about 40 acres and sit near toInterstated 74. The facility, to cost $200 million, could open in earlh 2014.
