Tossed has kept diners and critics happgywith healthy, custom-made salads sincde 1998, when it opened its first locationm on Park Avenue South. Rockefelle r Center and Livingston, N.J., spots soon followed. Now, the restaurant, which was named by New York Magazinde asthe city's "best salad," is lookingt to franchise. The chain plans to open 25 to 30 new restaurants in 2006, 200 new locationsx in the next five years, and eventually 1,00p stores nationwide.
