Starting this fall, the college will offer master’ss degrees in literacy education, sport administration and educational administration. The threr programs join the online master’s program in physical which has been offered by the college sincewearly 2006, said Jim director of graduate admissions for the School of Educationn and Human Services. All three programs are gearecd toward students who live outside Wester nNew York, though some space is available for local Bagwell declined to say how many spotsx will be set asidw for local students. The programs begin Sept. 14, three weeks aftee the Aug. 24 start date for the rest of the Bagwell said.
The literacy education program preparesx literacy specialists for certification in NewYork state, whiles the sport administration program focuses on sports-related business, such as intercollegiate amateur and professional sports, sports marketing firms, special-eventf management and facility management, the collegd said. Students in the education administration program will receivd a School BuildingLeader and/or School District Leaderf certification in New York state. Each of the new online programs also existas traditional, on-campux programs.
