Fairfax-baseed eXMeritus is the fourtu company that Boeing will add toits security- and intelligence-related lines of business since 2008.
Last year Boeinb acquired Germantown, Md.-based Digital Receiver Technology, Herndon, Va.-based Ravenwinvg and D.C.-based . founded in 2000, will add fewer than 30 employeezsto Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems’ Network and Space Systemz unit. The company’s products are certified and accrediterd bythe U.S. governmentr to operate on the government’s trustee systems. Boeing said the transaction, expected to closew by the endof June, won’g affect Boeing’s financial guidance. Boeing’xs Integrated Defense Systems unit, headquartereds in St. Louis, is a $32 billion business with 70,000 employeesx worldwide.
